  • Congratulations to Dr. Alexis Pandelios (former lab member) on her appointment as an Assistant Professor at the University of North Carolina Asheville in 2026.

  • We’re honored to be part of a multisite team that was awarded a grant from the John Templeton Foundation to study the integration of virtues and flourishing into mental health training and treatment. Dr. Wong is a site PI and will be examining the integration of gratitude interventions in psychotherapy, in collaboration with Co-PI Dr. Jeremy Coleman and his lab at the University of Utah.

  • Congratulations to Jonathan Kang for winning the 2025 Paul F. Munger Memorial Award to recognize his outstanding contributions to the counseling psychology program at Indiana University.

  • Congratulations to Alexis Pandelios for winning the Student Award for Distinguished Contributions in Positive Psychology conferred by the Positive Psychology Section in the Society of Counseling Psychology.

  •  Our lab set a record for the most number of APA presentation proposals accepted ever! 10 proposals affiliated with our lab were accepted by 7 divisions in 2025's APA. Professor Wong and 6 lab members all had the privilege to present research from our lab.

  • Our lab collaborated with Healthy IU to launch the Gratitude Challenge, a 6-week online program (October 3 - November 14, 2022) to help Indiana University employees cultivate gratitude. Participants engaged in gratitude journaling and also chose up to 6 other gratitude activities to participate in.
